Acetabular Liners

The LimaCorporate Acetabular Liners offer highly crossedlinked and vitamin E-enriched liners and BIOLOX®delta liners. The DELTA dual mobility liners complete the list of bearing options.

BENEFITS

  • State of the art bearing options
  • Highly crosslinked, vitamin E enriched polyethylene
  • Dual mobility liner options

The LimaCorporate Acetabular Liners range is designed to offer orthopaedic surgeons a comprehensive range of options, as well as the products’ unique distinguishing features.

Each liner uses the same 18-degree conicity taper to ensure a good locking mechanism into the shell. The liners can be placed with 360 degrees’ rotation which is useful when using protruded liners. The Acetabular Liners taper locking mechanism is circumferential around the rim of the cup and ensures even load distribution to the shell and bone. The unique rear peg ensures the correct alignment into the shell by sitting in the polar hole. This ensures there is no cross-locking of the liners into the shells and minimises the risk of rim chipping or locking mechanism failure. Acetabular liners are offered in BIOLOX®delta ceramic, cross-linked polyethylene, Vitamin E enriched polyethylene and Cobalt Chrome (for use only with the dual mobility system). Head sizes accepted include 28mm to 40mm in BIOLOX®delta ceramic, 28mm to 36mm in cross-linked and Vitamin E polyethylene, and 40mm or 42mm in Cobalt Chrome for dual mobility.

*BIOLOX®delta liners must be coupled with DELTA spacers when combined with DELTA One TT, DELTA Multihole TT or DELTA Revision TT cups.
